Catch Up

Alright. I havent been as faithful as i should have been when doing these postings, so here's some catch-up.

Since the last post i have been through Asian Cuisine, World Cuisine, completed my Culinary Internship, and have started Ala Carte (the restaurant class). I get my Associates Degree in the Culinary Arts this coming March and walk on June 15th. We're still in Pittsburgh (bleh) and we have been married for 2 years 4 months!

Jt is still at Carnegie Mellon University. Hes still majoring in Computer Science but his minor has changed to Physics. Jts got a LOT of friends and is involved in clubs around campus, and off campus.

The past week i have been sick! It started last Monday with a fever and caused me to miss my morning class on my first day of school. Then i managed to get to my night class on Monday, made it through Tuesday, and my morning class Wednesday, but was sick again that night. Its almost a constant headache and a dull stomach ache that intensifies and makes me feel horrible!
This weekend was just a continuation without it coming to head, and now that its Monday again everything is getting worse! I actually was asked to sit down during class because my chef thought i was going to pass out! Its a little embarrassing.

We've also decided to become more organized! We bought 2 bookshelves, one for books (duh) and one we put in the kitchen and placed all our dishes on it. This cleared space in our tiny cupboards so we could actually put food there.

WE HAD A MOUSE! This mouse decided that it was going to target the chocolate in my house...ONLY. It ate ALL my chocolate while we were in Hawaii over the summer, so now we've moved all the food into our metal cupboards and are in the process of washing ALL the laundry in our house in case the mouse came in contact with it. We informed management and they told us our next door neighbor had them too! In fact the lady said it had prob come from their apartment! EWWE! We moved our bookshelves, and found the little mouse had been making a nest under there!

But the saga of the mouse is at a standstill. We haven't seen any evidence of it since we put traps around the house, but its not in any of the traps. I'm just hoping that it went back to the neighbors house.
