Honeymoon Day 2 - Dublin Ireland

So today we did a little bit better.

We woke up at 7:00 am. Ate breakfast, which is an experience in itself because the food is sooo different.

We went back up to the room, watched TV and fell asleep once more. PLEASE REMEMBER THE 11 HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE.

We met up with our tour group at 2 pm. We got there on time, everyone else was just 15 minutes early, so we were the LAST couple on the bus.

This was our driving tour around Dublin with a stop at Kilmainham Jail. We drove past Trinity Collage, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, St. Francis Cathedral, among other places. We heard a little of the history and a lot of Guinness History. NEVER drink or swim in the river Liffe.

Then we toured the Jail. It was a very interesting place. A lot of the key players in the Irish Rebellion were housed and executed here. If anyone ever has the chance to tour this historical landmark, i would recommend it. This was also the home of thousands of people during the Great Potato Famine, people that were caught for stealing food to feed their starving families, or caught begging. It is really sad to here some of the stories and history of this jail.

At this point i was feeling a little bus sick, and when we got back to the hotel i laid in bed. My FABULOUS husband went out and got lunch for us since i wasn't feeling well and i got lunch in bed.

At 5:30 pm we were supposed to meet back up with the tour group for a get-to-know-each-other drink but, of course, I fell asleep once again and Jt, being the wonderful husband that he is, stayed with me instead of going out and leaving me alone.

After a while, Jt joined me in sleep.

We woke up again around midnight. Jt was too tired to get up, so i returned the favor he did for me earlier so i got up, and went and got dinner for us both, once again pizza. We had dinner in bed, watched TV, and fell asleep.
